Miles that Matter - Christy's Melanoma Awareness Fundraiser

Hello friends!

As part of The Year I Hit “That Year” — and in recognition of May being Melanoma Awareness Month — I’m launching a one-month fundraiser called Miles That Matter, raising money and awareness for melanoma in honor of my mom!

For the past four years, I've traveled to Hocking HIlls, Ohio for Mother's Day Weekend. This year, I'll use the Conkle's Hollow hike to kick things off. Over the next month, I’ll be hiking, walking, biking, and putting meaningful miles behind this cause while continuing to share the bigger journey all year long.

If you’d like to support the fundraiser or follow along, I’d love to have you with me. I'm hoping this event can help make a meaningful impact in the fight against melanoma. In support of this effort, I’ve created a fundraising page for The Melanoma Research Alliance (MRA) - the world’s largest nonprofit funder of melanoma research.

Since its founding, MRA has invested over $175 million in groundbreaking science that has transformed what it means to be diagnosed with and treated for melanoma. 100% of every donation made through my event goes directly to melanoma research.
